About emerie
emerie is the conversational AI platform built exclusively for community banks, credit unions, and fintechs. With over 30 years of financial services experience, we deliver intelligent automation across every customer and employee touchpoint through Voice AI, Chat AI, and Employee AI solutions. Trusted by 500+ financial institutions nationwide, emerie works like a banker, not just a chatbot.
The Role
We're looking for a client-first Implementation Specialist to guide financial institutions through the full lifecycle of their emerie deployment, from contract signing through go-live and beyond. You'll serve as a trusted partner, translating complex platform capabilities into configured, live solutions that drive real operational value. Success in this role is measured by client adoption, satisfaction, and demonstrable AI-driven efficiency gains within the first 90 days.
What You'll Do
• Own client relationships from kickoff through post-launch, serving as the primary point of contact across IT, operations, and leadership stakeholders
• Lead discovery, scope definition, project planning, and go-live readiness for multiple concurrent implementations
• Guide clients through integrations with core banking systems (Jack Henry, Fiserv, FIS, Corelation, DCI) and telephony infrastructure
• Configure and validate voice call flows, NLP intent mappings, and conversational AI dialogue tailored to each institution
• Lead UAT cycles, track defect resolution, and obtain formal sign-off prior to go-live
• Deliver role-based training and develop client-facing documentation to drive genuine staff adoption
• Identify expansion opportunities and bring client feedback back to product and engineering
What You Bring
• 3+ years in client-facing implementation, customer success, or project management at a SaaS, fintech, or technology company
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent implementations from kickoff to go-live
• Strong project management skills; familiarity with tools like Jira or similar
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable translating technical concepts for both IT teams and executive stakeholders
• Working knowledge of the fintech landscape: core banking, digital banking, and financial data flows
• Familiarity with AI and conversational AI concepts (chatbots, NLP, virtual assistants)
• A natural ability to identify client needs and guide conversations toward solutions that add genuine value, comfortable with consultative selling without it ever feeling like a sales call
• Experience working with or within financial institutions is a strong plus
Nice to Have
• PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification
• Hands-on experience with telephony or contact center platforms (Twilio, Five9, Genesys, Avaya)
• Background with NLU/NLP frameworks or voice assistant deployments in production
• Familiarity with core banking integration ecosystems
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, or OAuth in a client-facing context
• Familiarity with FFIEC, SOC 2 Type II, GLBA, or CCPA compliance frameworks
Compensation and Benefits
• Base salary: $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
• Remote-first with flexible hours
• Annual professional development budget
