Implementation Specialist
πLocation: Remote | Department: Support/Integrations | Reports to: Director of Support
About CrosschqCrosschq is an AI-powered hiring intelligence platform that helps talent teams source, screen, evaluate, and onboard candidates while measuring and improving quality of hire. The platform plugs into the systems our customers already run their hiring on, with integrations across 40+ partners including Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, SAP, and Oracle. Keeping that data flowing reliably between Crosschq and those partner systems is core to the product experience.
About the RoleWe're hiring an Implementation Specialist to own the technical setup and ongoing health of Crosschq's integrations with the ATS and HRIS platforms our customers use, including Workday, Paradox, Greenhouse, iCIMS, and others. The primary focus of this role is configuring and launching complex ATS and vendor integrations successfully β you'll need to be a true expert in how these systems connect, where they break, and how to get them live. This includes custom configurations on both the partner/ATS/HRIS side and within Crosschq's own platform settings. You'll be the technical owner for getting new customers live, the first line of defense when an integration breaks, and the person who makes sure failures get surfaced clearly instead of disappearing silently. This isn't a "set it and forget it" role β ongoing maintenance, optimization, and support of live integrations is just as important as the initial launch.
This role sits at the intersection of customer success, support, and the ATS vendors we partner with. You'll be heavily customer-facing β leading consultative conversations over Zoom with stakeholders ranging from HR administrators to IT teams β and you'll serve as the voice of the customer to our internal product and engineering teams.
What You'll Do- Lead the technical implementation of new ATS/HRIS integrations end to end: discovery, configuration, data mapping, testing, and go-live β including custom configurations on both the partner/ATS/HRIS side and within Crosschq's own platform settings.
- Own the ongoing health, maintenance, and optimization of live integrations β not just the initial launch, but ensuring they continue to run reliably and improve over time.
- Manage non-connector data flows, including offline data transformations and uploads for customers
- Β and ATS-only customers where direct integrations aren't in place.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and ATS vendor partners during onboarding and ongoing support β leading consultative discussions over Zoom and building trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, translating customer needs and pain points into clear, actionable feedback for our product and engineering teams.
- Diagnose integration failures, including cases where a request fails without generating a visible error or log entry, and partner with our team to close those monitoring and logging gaps.
- Build and maintain internal tooling and dashboards so Support and Customer Success can self-serve answers about whether a candidate's data sent successfully, instead of escalating every case.
- Triage customer-reported issues, identify root cause, and communicate timelines and resolutions clearly to both internal teams and customers.
- Write and maintain integration documentation and troubleshooting runbooks for internal and customer-facing use.
- Provide input to the product roadmap on new ATS partnerships and improvements to existing integrations.
- Support enterprise rollouts that require direct coordination with customer IT and HRIS teams.
What You'll Bring- 3+ years in an implementation, integration, or solutions specialist role, ideally within HR tech, background screening, or B2B SaaS.
- Deep, hands-on expertise configuring complex ATS and HRIS integrations β this is the core of the role, and you should be able to own the full lifecycle from initial setup through a successful launch with minimal guidance.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and mapping/transforming data between systems.
- Direct experience with at least one major ATS or HRIS platform (Workday, Paradox, Greenhouse, iCIMS, SAP SuccessFactors, Lever, etc.); Workday and Paradox experience strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills β you can explain a technical root cause clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and you're comfortable owning customer conversations end to end.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent implementation projects with competing deadlines.
- A self-directed problem-solver who's comfortable digging into unfamiliar logs, data, and systems to find root cause rather than waiting for someone else to hand over the answer.
Nice to Have- Experience specifically with Workday integration tooling (Workday Studio, RaaS, or Workday-certified partner implementations).
- Background in employment screening, talent acquisition, or compliance-adjacent software.
